  • Dr. Charles Billings

                   

    Dr. Billings is the founder and owner of Lake Jackson Animal Hospital. He received his D.V.M. from University of Florida in 1986 and opened the clinic in the winter of 1989. He has one cat named Perine and one Border Terrier named Blue. Outside of veterinary medicine his interests include biking, hiking, traveling, and playing basketball.

  • Sarah

    Sarah is one of our receptionists that you will see up front in the mornings. She likes to spend her free time with her two rescue boxers, Bunny and DJ.

  • Dr. Phillip Billings

    Dr. Phillip moved back to Tallahassee in January of 2026, where he was born and raised. He graduated from University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2024. After graduation, he accepted a position as an associate veterinarian at a busy general practice in Wilmington, North Carolina before deciding to follow in his father's footsteps. In his free time, Phillip enjoys fishing, playing sports, and spending time with his furry family (Finley, Sami, and Yogi).

  • Makenzie

    Makenzie is one of our dedicated Veterinary Technicians. She has worked in the field for more than 10 years. In her free time, Makenzie enjoys playing games with her friends or reading a good book; cuddled up with her cat, Lucy or her pit bull, Zuko.

  • Cindy

    Cindy is one of the welcoming faces that greets our pet parents at the front desk. She has worked at Lake Jackson since May of 2024. Cindy enjoys spending time with her family, dog Gemma, and cat Luna. 

  • Tanner

    Tanner is one of our vet assistants/kennel technicians. She is currently a student at TSC and is pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. 

  • Tara

    Tara has worked at Lake Jackson for more than 10 years. She primarily works in the kennel and enjoys spending time with our boarding pets.
